How fun to join you in your exploration/science/and research! I'm glad nothing really vile had sneaked in. |
I loved that quote. I thought reptile eggs from that first picture. I like having snakes but poisonous ones are quite rare where I live. |
Isn't that quote funny? Oh, ya'll can't know how happy I was that I didn't have reptiles on my hands. (My 14 year old son owns a blue tongued skink and he is quite enough reptile for me.) |
Good thing an alien didn't come out of that "egg!" So happy for you that it was just a mushroom. Whew. |
I think Caroline and I found one of those the other day while we were out adventuring. When I told her it was a mushroom, she tossed it a few feet away. We were both startled at how loud the "thunk" was when it landed. |
Rita, I tried to ID the 'room but without much success. It seems wrong for a person to encounter so many mushrooms that one would need a book. If it doesn't quite raining it might come to that. I totally believe you about the thunk! {shudder} |

brave, brave woman. i'm seriously thinking about putting screen around my garden. can snakes climb screen wire? |
Hi Janean, I think if snakes want in they can get in. I have seen them dive under the sod, climb things like trees, birdhouses on very tall stakes to eat the bird eggs, and woodpiles. |
