I can tell how excited you are, Leslie! Don'tcha just love it when things come together! We are planning to paint our bedroom blue also! We have paint swatches, but can't decide on which blue. Then I can be on the lookout for a new comforter and make some valances to match.

I know what you mean about rarely finding anything good in thrift shops. I am the same way. In fact, I hardly ever go into them or go to garage sales because I might be tempted to buy something I don't have room for, and it takes so long to find the treasures among the trash.
Once in a great while Miss Gumbo Lily and I go on a treasure hunt to antique stores and thrift shops. We are mostly looking for good books, but occasionally find something else interesting. We are about due for another treasure hunt. Want to come up and join us?
