Once again, we are in total agreement. I really can't figure out why everyone isn't following this on Twitter, youtube, etc. A mentally unstable dictator heading towards nuclear weapons, a corrupt election, a populace risking there lives for the world to know their outrage...and US news coverage is about Carrie Prejean, Chastity Bono, etc.
National apathy is truly reaching dangerous levels.
Although our "dependable" news networks don't take time to comment on stories that are more important than "Obama going on a date with his wife", I'm glad that we have other sources to find information. How amazing it is that we can access primary source documents immediately as history is being written. It's also great that you use resources like you tube and twitter to research more than just viral videos. Even when there is a story it's often twisted one way or another, but with the right tools you can search for all the information yourself. That inspires me to use the internet to expand my knowledge of the whole world rather than just getting more consumed in my own.
