I saw a TV report where someone was doing a fashion shoot with models posing with The Wall as a background. The thing is, the report was unclear as to whether it was a satirical political statement or not.
The artist seemed to be saying that he wanted to call attention to The Wall in an unusual way, but the Palestinians they got comments from didn't think much of the idea--that the stunt was actually desensitizing people to The Wall's significance by treating it frivolously.

Funny you say that Montag. I was just thinking that the "let's nothing through" line was a bit off. It was like saying it's been a success, which, when you consider the radicalisation of Israeli-Arabs and Bedouin, it hasn't. Well not in that sense anyway. It has however helped with the ethnic cleansing. So maybe the wall shows that Zionism is more about hating the Arab's children than it does about loving the children of Israel.

But from the vantage point of the UK where one of the main gay activist groups - Outrage! - has thrown its lot in with the Zionist movement et al, QUIT is a welcome antedote.

Of course you've had your share of walls in Britain, haven't you? There was Hadrian's Wall built about 121 C.E. (A.D.) Then in 142 the Romans built the Wall of Antoninus from the Firth of Forth to the Firth of Clyde farther North, only to be abandoned by the Emperor Severus in 208. It was back to Hadrian's Wall again.

I understand that there's some dispute between the Scots and the English over this. The Scots maintain proudly that their resistance fighters prevented the Roman conquest of Scotland. The English insist on spitting in the soup by saying that the Romans never conquered Scotland because there was nothing there WORTH conquering!
