The chestnut is a bit tiresome at this point: it worked well during the post-Holocaust period. Who came for the Palestinians? Arafat? Who did nothing? Arafat? Who paid the bills that were then used to send to Paris for private bank accounts? and on and on--when will the Palestinians say They Did Nothing but fire guns into the air on 9/11 or when an Israel was killed?

Oh, you mean like those Israeli Mossad agents who danced atop vehicles, cheering while the WTC towers burned? The same guys who were pulled out of NJ detainment and sent packing back to Tel Aviv after the Israeli Embassy put pressure on the White House?
Please.

That's cool you posted about Alison's article and If Americans Knew.
I worked there for a year, til they moved from Berkeley to LA. They're a really small organization and put out some really good info, so us peeps need to support them and spread the word about them.
Rock on.

It turns out that the Israelis who were picked up and detained were treated just as badly as the Muslims, because anyone the government detained was automatically a "terrorist." The food they got was so bad that they got dysentery. If they were Mossad agents they were pretty stupid ones for calling attention to themselves like that. But when you consider how many fiascos Mossad has suffered, perhaps it's just standard operating procedure!

Do you think, Montag, that the Mossad might be victims of their own success like the Israeli army? I mean like, they are so brilliant in some areas they take their brilliance for granted and make silly mistakes then.

I don't know, but Mossad seems to be a battleax instead of a rapier. They got both Jordan and Canada mad at them several years ago with the same bungled operation. And just recently they managed to offend both New Zealand and Australia at the same time. Convicted Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard is still a very hot issue between Israel and the U.S., and that was almost 20 years ago.
