The "Israeli"-backed Abbas government is now accusing Hezballah of carrying out the attack, whereas Hezballah denies it. We all know Hezballah's history of standing up and claiming responsibility for their actions. Do we know the same about Abbas and his thugs? No. All we know is that they are backed by "Israel" and have started spewing similar rhetoric, and it's only natural that they should accuse Hezballah (if a Jew is stabbed in "Israel", Hezballah must be behind it....).....

riught. now let's blame Mossad! no matter what you folks will blame Jews and Israel..sure the settlers a pain in the ass but guess what? Sharon will remove them. Fact: since the elections some dozen or more suiide attempts thwarted...this one was not. And now two groups take responsibility--and both are not Hizbollah...can't you accept the fact that the terrorists are still running rampant among the Palestinians and unless they are stopped, the peace process will go nowhere?

If Sharon intends to remove the settlements why are they being built on the West Bank at breakneck speed now? Why are they confiscating land from "absentee" Palestinians? Isn't it to create irrevocable facts on the ground? The Wall is just a red herring--the real threat to a contiguous Palestinian State is the settlement-building activity that's going on between the Green Line and the Wall.

The purpose of the so-called Peace Process is not to achieve a Palestinian State, but to lull them into inactivity while Israel continues to build more settlements.
What will it take to make this plain? Perhaps when the settlements jump the Jordan River and start marching towards Amman, Baghdad and points East?
