Well the "oligarchs" were mostly all Jews, and they gutted the Russian economy and walked away with billions. And at the top of the festering hierarchies of the Vor V Zakonye, the Organizatsya, are far more than a representative number of Jews. So it's not hard to see resentment building off that in a Russia that's on its knees.
And then the whole neocon/US proxy-for-Zion thing.
It's the lack of dialog, the inability of the small voices to carry far enough, and the inability of the loudest to hear anything but their own bellowing. I have lots of friends who periodically give out with statements attesting to their disgust with the human race. It's the same thing, the same template - it isn't the human race that's doing all this, it's a small minority of clever men. Isolating the cause in time may divert the total collapse of human society. It may be our only chance.
Anti-Semitism's no worse than anti-Arabism or anti-anything-else-ism, including anti-humanism - in the long run it all goes to the same place.

I don't think you'll ever find evidence for Jewish gangsters being representative of Jews generally. The problem of economic criminality in Russia is due to the sheer lawlessness of the privatisation programme in a country with no capitalist tradition and, indeed, no private capital except what could be mustered from outside. A further problem now is that malicious forces are using the Jewishness of some, even most, of the oligarchs to mount a campaign against Jews in general in the Duma.

You're replying to them through me, that's the whole point of what I said. There's no dialogue.
I'm not in any sense suggesting, and I certainly don't believe that there's a "representative" aspect.
But it's true that the oligarchs were Jewish, and it's true that the Bush administration is driven by Jews.
Looking away from the unpleasant truth allows the cause to proceed with its iniquity. The oligarchs came from somewhere. Without a more precise location, as things intensify, broad categories will serve, and innocents will suffer. We can't prevent that happening by pretending there's no connection. It's the nature of the connection, the way these men have linked their inhumanity to the innocent suffering of others. It's a shield, made out of the lives of those innocents, that protects villainy. Jewish voices need to be raised against this - it's dangerous I know, and there's tremendous antipathy, vicious snarling reptilian power ready to attack any threat. It will be asier and easier for Jews to find refuge with the men who have done and are doing these inhuman things. And harder and harder to withstand the centralizing power of that nightmare greed.
The danger's here. We can accomodate it or we can resist.
The same thing that was done to Russia's beginning in the US. The world. The radius of empire increases in the Middle East. We're getting closer and closer to the first nuclear weapons since Hiroshima. And the fundamentalists are cumming in their pants with glee.
None of us know the whole truth, but all of us have a piece of it we carry. Speak it.
