Well it looks like Joan Scott started the week as a nice but rather silly liberal, arguing against academic boycotts and for free speech.
She ended the week discovering that all the Jews had ganged up against her in a conspiracy and has already become an antisemite.

And so yet again more clear evidence that Engage is staffed by liars and propagandists.
Why the guardian tolerates them surprises me still.

So you'd have to think that at least 75% of the 'independent support' Engage receives are lies authored by other Engage / HP sock puppets.
(I suspect it much higher but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.)
Not very ethical or professional but then truth and honour are not built into the foundations of an organisation that relies on lies and smears to shut down debates it does not approve of.

I think it gives us a big clue as to where Engage came from and why?
I'm not scared of Linda Grant, and I know she is more than happy to run with liars and hypocrites at Engage. All I;m saying is that I don't have any direct evidence of sock-puppetry on her part. I did suspect her of being "Rob Foster" at Wikipedia and of being someone else here but since she has never posted here in her own name I don't have any evidence.
Also I'm not sure if anyone at Engage is worth bothering with any more. Not in a big way anyway. I think even their friends find them embarrassing.

In trade fair that is taking place in Tulkarem city, Palestinian citizens and traders gathered in the refugee camp to buy and sell Palestinian products in a statement of boycott and resistance to the Israeli occupation.
Goods produced in the camp itself were on sale, including carob energy drinks, children's clothes and packaged cakes. Local people browsed the stalls while children from the camp entertained onlookers with drumming and dancing.
The message of the meeting was to remind the population that boycott is a culture and a way of resisting occupation, the checkpoints and everything that the occupation is trying to impose on the Palestinian people.
Israeli goods dominate the Palestinian market. Over the next ten days, the Tulkarem trade fair will gather over a hundred businesses and farmers, many of them from Tulkarem camp itself, as part of a growing movement to boycott Israeli goods and promote Palestinian production.
