Bombing Iran won't change the fact that it's a regional superpower--economically as well as militarilly. If nothing else they can simply close the Strait of Hormuz to traffic. Anytime you advocate an unprovoked military assault on another country you're asking for trouble--just look at our "splendid little war" in Iraq, or Israel's Calvary in Lebanon in 2006. As LBJ said of Vietnam, "I feel like a hitchiker on a West Texas highway in a rainstorm--I can't get in out of the rain and I can't make it stop!"
