Shouldn’t the rights of the Jewish Arab refugees be respected as well – there were more of them and they lost land equivalent to 100,000 sq km (four times the size of Israel).

Of course all refugees from all places should have the right to return or to compensation. That point has been made by at least two of the contributors here in posts and in comments. I'm surprised that an avid follower like you hasn't noticed that.

Italy has just signed a compensation package with Lybia for its occupation and colonization of that country. Another prescedent?
