Good lord, Dieudonne actually got Madame Le Pen to go to Africa to help poor Pygmies:

"The son of a Cameroonese father and a white French mother, Dieudonné had just returned from Cameroon, where he had filmed with Madame Le Pen their encounters with that country’s suffering Baka Pygmy population. The room was filled with journalists from France’s main newspapers and television stations.
"In the film, Dieudonné and Madame Le Pen, who is in her seventies, are shown trekking through the jungle and holding malnourished Pygmy children in their arms; in one segment they pay for medical treatment for twin girls. "

Zionists have Sudan and Rwanda, now French fascists have the Pygmies.

I read this post a few hours ago and I've only just realised what a good line it was to use the word "Blasphemy" in the headline. I was surprised at first to see that France had a blasphemy law.
Anyway Hulkagaard I'd read the Jonathan Miller post before the Tom Reiss one.

Ok, i've read it, not sure why you told me to? Doesn't mention Mrs. Le Pen and the Pygmies?

Oh sorry, I was expressing myself badly, very badly, now I'm reading rather than writing what I said. I intended to say that I had agreed with what you said about fascists and Pygmies but I got distracted and said what links I had followed from Gabriel's post. Regarding what I actually wrote, I meant I had read(red) not I would or should read(reed) the Jonathan Miller article first. Having read (red) the Miller thing first I didn't take in fully what the Reiss article was saying so when I read your comment I read it again and saw the Pygmies stuff.
Clear? Please say yes.

'Remembrance Porn'? - Great term.
It affects of course, more than Jews.
For instance, I don't have any problems puting money into Poppy fund cans at all - quite the contrary I know it goes to soldiers maimed by war, of whom I knew quite a few blinded or maimed who benefited.
My problem is when I look at all those people in the public arena who wore and wear the poppy as though it was a badge by which they could absolve the past by shoving a pound in the tin: As a substitute to REMEMBERING it.
The Tony and Gordon Show utilised Poppies prominently at the appropriate time, and then went on to aid Murder in Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon.
I resolved long ago never to wear a poppy whe I saw they had become de rigueur amongst such politicians.
For me the poppy has become 'Remembrance Porn'.

Good expression and good interpretation by Gabriel. I don't want to turn this into a schmooze fest but English isn't Gabriel's first language, it's his third, which makes his descriptions even more impressive.

I remember visiting the holocaust museum in Washington DC and thinking to myself "surely all the money spent on this swanky building in the middle of federal DC could have been spent on better things".
As a Palestinian, I pity those Jews that have genuinely suffered during the holocaust and onwards. It's such a shame that their suffering has been capitalised upon by their so called brothers and sisters.

Tony Montana - I thought you were Cuban. Never mind. The Jewish Chronicle in the UK has had at least two articles including an editorial criticising the holocaust industry, though it doesn't call it that, for spending too much on memorials (propaganda) and admin (hucksters) and not enough on survivors.

i'm sure if it truly was a people's republic, there would be no refugees. or did you mean the people's republic to be?

Just one minor quibble. I would say an "orgasm of self-righteousness" rather than righteousness.
