I try to keep my politics private but I do think you have some good points Libby. Sad thing is that if a really honest person with great plans and intentions ever tried to run for higher office, they would be beat down like a dog by their own party. Why is dishonesty and corruption so accepted in politic in this country? The comedian Lewis Black has a funny bit about a republican standing up in Congress and saying "I have a really shitty idea" and the democrat jumping up and responding; "And I know how we can make it even shitier!!!" Basic truism.

Libby, I see we can easily be friends. I have been on to the BS the media has been feeding us for sometime. It satrted in college in the 70s when we were all suppose to hate the rich Republicans and like the poor Democrats. I soon learned that the only rich republicans were the hard working men and women who have worked hard to get there. All the rich Democrats were trust babies.
