Sounds like Christmas Day was alot of fun for you! Katie and my nephew (6 years old) took turns openning gifts while the rest of us watched. We ususally open youngest to oldest, but my nephew still isn't over being the youngest in the family. Thankfully, Katie was gracious about it. That was probably the only part of the weekend that she was gracious.

We sang Happy Birthday when my Dad was alive. That brought back some memories.

I don't know about Jesus laughing, but I was. I think that's a precious tradition you've started with his family.
I'll have to look for that game-our families always play games at the holidays..and jenga and cards are getting old.

My best friend from NY sent me that apples to apples game too! Haven't checked it out yet but going to make a point of it now!
