that's a pisser you should be able to recoup some of that money someway shouldn't ya?? i would think so. sheesh, i'd be real pissed off! that's alot of money-i didnt do the math-but i'd be pissed if i were you. ggrrrr....thats our govt workin for ya! and that really sucks about your gas bill. i can't imagine what ours is going to be this winter...

I completely disagree. Call them back and see if you can get that back, you should not get interest but you should get your money back. Do some research, I bet for certain that you have to opt into that, or should have to. I would try. That could be some good cash. 960 a year times 5 would be a $4800.
