I think it's a nice post, but I can "hear" that you're sorta bored...or just restless?

Yes Sunday is Mother's day - will be a bittersweet day for the family and extended family. Mine has been gone for four years now and I still miss her. MIL is stuck in bed and it is her 91st birthday as well.

I've seen that pic before and laugh every time. I must have an evil streak a mile wide! Your daughter is so sweet to say that you are her hero. It must be nice to know that you are appreciated for a job well done raising her.
Now, I have some catching up on your past entries to do. I hate getting behind on friend's lives!

I always think that picture[s] are so sad. That poor momma duck.

I remember when I was on Prednisone for 18 months-my ass got so big from eating. I mean I ate everything. EVERY-THING! I love strawberry shortcake bars. Those are the best.

If that whole bread tree thing works-I'll toss a dollar in the backyard and wait for that infamous money tree to blossom.

tx-it's gonna be sad for me too. my mom's having a lung biopsy today...she had 1/3 of one lung removed for cancer abt 5 yrs ago...that lung is ok, now it's the other one...

xdell-i'll put the pictures on, not the link, cuz it has my town... (i kmow...paranoid!)

christine-it was GREAT to hear her tell the whole town that! cuz even though kids may feel that way, you sure as hell don't hear it from them much!!

kimmyk-i thought about the money tree yesterday too!! and, yes, those strawberry shoretcake bars are GREAT!! i've been eating one everyday for breakfast!! (plus the rest of the day!!)
