Her mom wanted her to have dance lessons instead, though. Which was fairly consistant with her saying that those were cars backfiring everytime she'de bring her out to her sister's farm. I would have screwed that up, fer sure. I would have told CJ that those were guns, most likely rifles, and that the farmers don't think it's cute when deers and rabbits destroy their fields.....

That really was a close call. I'm glad it had a happy ending. It just goes to show that bad guys don't always seem like bad guys. It pays to be careful.

Libby, I'm relieved that you weren't harmned by these guys. From what you wrote, they appear to have been undergoing what psychologists call "shaping." These two probably got a kick getting the attention of pretty young things like you and Kim. After awhile, they needed to impress them. Once the thrill wore off of that, they got charged putting young ladies in vulnerable situations.
Unchecked, they were bound to rape someone sooner or later. Like I said, I'm happy it wasn't you because I like you. But I'm still saddened and enraged by the fact that they raped the two other teenyboppers.
