Forgive me, but I've been reading your archives. Just curious. In one, you wrote that after your retirement, you got in front a computer and began communicating with people all around the world.

That's smart. You forged new support systems. And judging from your other posts, you had older ones too. You've also given support to others (like me), so a lot of that good cyberwill boomeranged back to you.

Your dad obviously has a tremendous support system in you and your brothers, but he can't see it; perhaps that's the big difference between the two of you. Your mom needs him now for support, and she needs her children (and grandkids).

I'm really hoping that your dad realizes soon that he has at least one job left to do. It could make things a lot easier.

Meanwhile, keep your own spirits high. It's important to enjoy what things you can. Your family could probably use a bounce or two, now and then, and so could you
