Democrats and republicans are both political parties this is what they do. Happens all over the world and ...no... I don't have a solution for corruption. And you are right that the way people behave to friends and family is not too different... after all politicians come from our own species (though it might not seem that way at times).

Girl I am so with you on the sick of snow stage. I would love to only have inches in front of my house instead of the several foot high pile that never seems to go away. And guess what, it is snowing !
As for our government I am sure there are few more people whose skeletons will come out of the closet soon.

I'm glad your bro did your driveway for you. And yes, there are still some good husbands around. When my hubby is out of town ( which is always) I jokingly refer to my neighbor as my other husband. Good thing his wife and I are good friends.

It's all a big fat game with the politicians no matter what side you re one. They behave like hypocrites to one up everyone else in the room. It's the "game" they play. it will never change. Obama really did seem glum that Daschle crashed and burned. The guys looking into nominees should have done their homework to prevent these embarrassing situations. Or they could have been arrogant and felt like it didn't matter. Who knows. He's out of the picture now.
