thoughts...usually with attitude...

Gravatar It's nice to see everything so green and I love the sewing table!

I'd say antiques only at the auction, but that's just me. Maybe you should tell G that the stuff he needs to remove from your Mom's house will go on ebay if he doesn't get it out by ____ date? There's always got to be one trouble maker in the family.

Gravatar oh, mary i totally agree! i dont wanna sell 20 year old furniture next to a hutch that's handmmade from the 1800's!!

Gravatar Well, it would help him get rid of his stuff, which would help you and your other brother to get the house emptied and ready for sale...You could always put them in their own little grouping-yard sales attract all kinds of buyer types so surely it would appeal to someone. And, it might help keep the peace as well. Just my thoughts on the subject.
Hope everything else is going ok!

Gravatar Oh, dear. I hoped it wouldn't have come to this. But if you need a lawyer or any other outside arbitrator to work out the solution to this problem, so be it. Good luck with that, and with your own moving.

Gravatar cindy-well, it seems to us that g is being too f'n lazy to have his own yard sale, in his own neighborhood. he wants some one else to do it, in a 'high dolllar' neighborhood! that's freakin bullshit if you ask me...just my opinion...

x-thanks for for the good wishes!! i hope it all goes well, too...i'll keep everyone posted!

Gravatar Mary is right..whenever there are more than one kid...there has to be a PITA in the mix. Although I will admit SCM hasn't gotten his ass over to his dad's house to clean it out and it has been a year now. It is just the lazy man factor I guess.

Gravatar christine...you are so right!and if anyone in the world had to guess who it was gonna be, well...bro & i are WAY too much alike in personalities, that it was obvious a long time ago who it'd be!! bro & i are happy (mostly), g is just that...grumpy!

Gravatar An estate auction does not have to be just antiques. When I've been to them, it's a mix of everything.

Gravatar summer- welcome back..havent seen you for a while!

as far as the auction goes, thanks for telling me that...a big reason we don't want g's stuff in it, is cuz it's old, ragggedy, has been clawed by all his 4 or 5 house cats for 20+years, and it smells like cat piss...NOW what does everyone think??

Gravatar he should either hold his own yard sale, throw it away, or take it to a consignment shop. Period.

And no way are those dogs pure bred yorkies. I have two friends that breed them and they look nothing like that. They actually look like they have chihuahua in them, the head and everything. Just my opinion.

Loved the pics libby!!!

Gravatar Have a great Memorial Day, Libby!

Gravatar burf-i was dunb...i MEANT to say chihuahua!~!, i still can tell they're not purebred anything, but they sure are cute & nice!!

donald ..THANKS! you too!

Gravatar how beautiful those gardens are, and how damn cute the doggies are.

Gravatar Well, now... I was gonna say that I'm for anyone getting rid of stuff at the auction, however when you said it "smells" - that's a horse of another color - could negatively taint buyer's thoughts on all your sales that day.
So, stand your ground - only the 'estate' stuff at the sale. That way you don't have to worry over dividing up what would have been just 'his' from the rest.

Gravatar fools gold...not only were the dogs cute...they were exxtremely well behaved!

dorko-that's exactly the point bro & are going to stress tomorrow at the lawyer!!
