I suppose that the advantage of the dollar store is that you get goodies in hand immediately, for little money.
That green house looks like my grandmother's place in Columbus. The house, that is. The yard looks quite different.

x-yeah, i usually go to like the rite aid, dollar store, groc store...usually it's just to see that there really ARE other real people in the world!
there's a big difference between a 'lawn' and a 'yard'...a yard has toys & kids in it...a lawn is what people who don't have kids have...i'm willing to bet your grandmother has a lawn...lol!
i'm glad Mom's in the hospital right now, in the icu, just to keep up with what's going on!

I'm glad that your mom is being taken care of. It's nice that the nursing home she was at knew their limitations and put her in the hospital for the time being.
mary! i had you fooled, you thought i was listening when you told me 'don't do this'! haha! yeah, i like it that the nursing home did that too...i also like it cuz you can go out there and visit 24/7, which i think is great!
I'm glad that there was someone there that astute enough to realize that your mom needed more care than they could offer.

All I ever wanted to be was a Mom, isn't that silly. haha. now I have five kids, and if two of them didn't live with me still, I wouldn't hear from any of them. And I wasn't a bad Mom either, quite the opposite, I raised them to think the sun rose and set on them, and now they are so self centered they don't think anyone else exits........maybe I made a mistake, huh. haha Just feeling sorry for myself because I told my son to call and that was a week ago, and he still hasn't called. he is busy with a new baby though.
i was wondering if your Mom was doing better and if she might be home by now.
I love the dollar store, you can buy a carfull of stuff for 50. We go to dollar tree, nothing in the store is more than a buck.....
nea-huh...tif is so self-sufficient, she's busy doing fun stuff goes to the blue jackets hockey games all the time!, hell, she doesnt have time to come over! but she's happy, & i'm glad i raised her to be this way...sometimes its just hard to realize that this was what you wanted back when they were 'irresponsible teenagers'!

I guess I got my dream job. I only ever wanted to have a million animals and to be a mom. I'm still working my way up to a million. But I got the mom part.
