I know what you mean, actually the Dr.'s aren't the ones that we mostly deal with. After you see them, it is the nurses that do everything else. I have an appointment on Friday, NOT looking forward to it, but I gotta go. Been a really lousy week here, Dr. put me on new meds that have made me really sick.....they are either going to kill me, or cure me I guess. Not sure which will come first though. I wanted to go see my Mom this summer, but that isn't going to happen not the way I am feeling today. Just no way could I get couped up on a plane for six hours. Yikes.

Libby, I'm glad that you were able to get your meds. It's great to find people that are willing to work for you.
And remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean no one is out to get you.

More times than I care to remember, I've told doctors what all three of us needed. I can't really blame some of them because of the case load they had.

Nurses, physios, receptionists all play a big role. I have been in hospital for 2 months I would have never gotten out if it hadn't been for all of them.
So... if a neurologist gets neurotic by treating neurotics which neurologist would the newly neurotic neurologist go to?

I must be a bitch, the doc comes in and she always is in a hurry to get out to her next patient. I tell her slow down hoss, I paid for this apt so you might as well get comfy cuz if we talk about the weather I'm getting my half an hour that I've been waiting 3 f'ing hours for and that I have paid for out the @$$.
I also make her give me any shots I need AND take my blood pressure and tempature. She hates me sometimes
And they call it medical "practice" for a reason. They are just expermenting on all of us the creeps.

You are the ONLY person who is working your medical case 24 hours a day. So you have to do just what you did: insist on what you need. Good for you!
