It seems you hear this same thing everywhere you turn lately- we've got a boy in our church recovering (Dr.s said he never would) from brain cancer, another lady just found out she has it, another yet has been undergoing treatment, our son's fiance has kidney cancer and now it has spread...but you know God can do miracles and still is. I'll be praying for your Mom, Libby and for you.

There is nothing like a REAL phone when you have an important call to make. (I have had so many dropped calls.) Things sound promising, but of course you are scared, surgery is surgery, and of course at 84, well we don't heal as well as we get older. Mom had surgery, chemo, and radiation, all three.....The Dr's decide which is best after careful consideration, Radiation around the face has it's own risks, so if they can operate that might be a good thing. And just get it out. Mom's wasn't operable.....that was years ago, and she is still trucking.....
Your Mom sounds like she is in good hands. Hope you get to visit soon and find her rested. I know what you mean about the cleaning and making and fixing their entire life, that was my Mom also, if she had anyone around she was cooking something, cleaning something or rearranging something, we used to say, PLEASE Mom, just sit still and let us do something, but forget it, she had to do it all.
nea, you bet, that's her! and she collects china plates, and every so often just takes them down and handwashes them if she's not doing anything else! ...i'll bet i'll never be like that...i like PAPER plates!!

Oh Libby I didn't know your mum was poorly, I'vebeen at the coast checking our place since the floods. You know my thoughts are with you and I will send positive to your mum. Stupid to say don't worry but she sounds in good hands, take care (((((((HUGS))))))) to you and your mum. love Queenie x
