Lib, I like how you plan that bail-out out. Good thinkin! It's insane that's for sure. It's like everytime they speak about it, it sends a wave of panic into the public and that causes me waves of anxiety.

...and, you're right, i've gotten a shot in my arm once a week for the last 13 years...good lord, i have a choice between 1 shot a week with a big needle, or 3/4 shots a wk with a smaller needle...

What I'm tired of is how condescending the press has been. "Big Gay Ali" Veshi on CNN is particularly bad. They are convinced that if we are against the bailout it's because we're little idiots who just don't understand the situation. The idea that we *do* understand the situation, but disagree with them, hasn't penetrated their thick skulls.
I know, in the end, Wall Street will get our money. They always do.
Moving right along, I'm a little down on rabbits since they local ones ate all my morning glories. The sad thing is, the bunnies are so darn cute that I can't bring myself to do anything about it. 
(BTW, the math is a little off in your bailout plan. We'd only get $425. But that's still better than nothin'.)
Actually, we did have to have some kind of bail out in order to prevent a deep depression which would leave many, many poor and middle-income folks out of work.
My question is, why can't we put the corporate CEOs in jail for what they did to their companies, and therefore to the country? Seems like fraud to me. Isn't that a crime?
ALSO, why don't we take the houses, the cars, and the big bank accounts of these people who ruined their banks and insurance companies? We confiscate the cars (and furniture even) of drug dealers and sell them with the profits going to police departments. How is this different?

As for the bailout, the feds need to do something. Paulson's plan is far from perfect, but even the libertarian WSJ is endorsing last night's vote to restore confidence in the economy.

Libby, last night I was ready to throw a brick at my TV watching the senate pass the bill with more pork!!! What gives!?!? There is NO difference between the 2 parties. None! they talk the talk to win the support of people like you and I but in the end do whatever they want.
As for the finger pointing, I feel both sides need to shut up because both sides were not clean in this. And NO WAY is this JUST BUSH. They were ALL in on it. all of them! The issue of which party is at fault is a distraction and shows you how stupid they think we are.
These injections sound like a drag but are important none the less. With all the medical advances you wonder why they couldn’t come up a better way. But if it gets destroyed in your belly, what can you do?
