Libby- I'm so glad all went well! My husband's dad is in a nursing home. He stayed home as long as we were all able to help out with his care. But then, he fell and broke his leg and had to be hospitalized. He has been in the home ever since. At first it was an adjustment but now he seems very happy there. He has made many friends. And he loves having that call button right beside him, knowing that it will bring someone to wait on him almost immediately. I hope your mom will do what you think is best, but I know what you mean- you can't choose for her.
