thoughts...usually with attitude...

Gravatar I WAS focusing on the story till you... never mind.

Can't really blame the smartass mailman. That was straight out a ..errr... "classic" 70's movie.

Gravatar i had to laugh at ya lib because the whole "like i give a shit" attitude is so you!! i can totally see you shrugging your shoulders like "yeah i know..." that's funny. not funny they sent the wrong one..wonder if they were thinking you wouldn't notice? i'm sure it was less expensive and they charged you the higher price anyways. i hate dept. stores and the people who work there-they dont care. you're right!!!

yeah @ goin' to your class reunion! i never made it to any of mine and i wish that i did, but oh well. i've lost track now how long it's been...23 years. i just counted. so maybe in 2 years i'll go to my 25th if we have one.

time flies!

Gravatar I've had problems with sears deliveries. Our closest sears is 140 miles away. And we got a window a/c unit from them, said it would be here on a monday, we got it on Thursday, and we had to chase the truck down, make them give it to us.

We got a new fridge was told it would be here in two days, set up people to help us take old one out and new one in. We didn't get it for over a week, Gigantor had to do it all himself.

So...sears pisses me off sometimes.

They are opening an appliance store here soon, maybe I can get my ice maker fixed. hahahahaha

Gravatar Did you get the right refrigerator?
I'm glad you're going to your class reunion. I never was brave enough to go to any of mine.

Gravatar sj-what? what movie was that from?? cuz i dont see too many movies...'specially in the 70's, when i was "pre-teen"!

kimmy-the refrigerator is like, big enough to hold a whole ox!! you would not believe how enormous it is!! it's a few inches too tall to even fit under the cabinets!! so it's sitting in the middle of the kitchen now, till they get mine in, they had to order it for me...they really are making up for all the shit! it's even gonna have a factory-installed ice maker in the freezer, and the guy i ordered the original from actually came to my house this monday to measure the cabinets to make sure it was gonna be the right size! i guess that's what calling the human resources will do!

burfica-i can't imagine living THAT far from a sears (but you have a freakin SONIC!!) and whenever they deliver in this town, there's at least 2 guys in the truck...for taking our old one out and bring in the new one...except when they delivered MY last one!! :-D

Gravatar summer-hey, good to see ya! and, no, i'm still sitting here with this huge MONSTER-SIZED one, but they know i'm using it, til i get the new one! and, yeah, i'm sure that i'd eventually regret not going to the class reunion...it IS the 25, after all!

Gravatar Geeeez, you're just having all kinds of problems paying for stuff and getting it delivered.

Tell ya what? You buy my left sock for 130 bucks and I promise to send it sometime this year. :P

Did you get the batteries in, Libby??

Gravatar slick-yeah, kev came over tonight & put them in for me, so yay-hoo, i'm ready to go tomorrow!! i charged it up all the way tonight!
and, hey, tell you what...i'll buy your sock...but do me a favor & just send it to any random person in the us...now THAT would be funny!!

Gravatar Lately it seems like that "I don't give a shit attitude is all that I see," must be the heat or something. haha

They are having a class reunion for my class this year also, I went and looked and seven people are signed up, and no one that I even remember, so I said to myself, forget it.....

The people I want to see are already dead, I guess. haha

Gravatar Hi babe, glad to hear your chilled, well at least with a refrigerator!!!!
Gosh you are brave, I would hate to meet some of the folks I went to school with (I'm sure they think the same). School years were not a good part of my history, I was a far better person once I was working....
If you get chance, have a view of my Friday 55 tomorrow.

Gravatar I remember how cool it was when I was a kid and someone in the neighborhood got a new fridge. We used to use that box for all sorts of imaginative things for days and days until it rained.

As far as 25th reunions...mine was this year too and I never liked those folks much when I was there..I am certainly not going to PAY to hang out when them again...shudder.

Gravatar nea--well, a lot of times i must just not be noticing it, cuz this is the first time in a LONG time i've seen it...but, like i said, i can totallly uderstand it!
i can;t believe only 7 people are signed up for your class reunion...how many did you graduate with?

queenie--my high school years were pretty awful too...i got picked on a lot, made fun of a lot...in fact, it was hell! but now that i have enough self-confidence, i look forward to it!

chris--yeah..this fridge didnt even COME in a box!! floor model, i guess...the one i'm getting to replace it, BETTER be in a box!!
ande, yeah, well, i never really wanted to go to tny hs reunions. but now it's like 'why not?' i don't wanna be in my 80's, thinking 'i could've...'

Gravatar Well, judging from my appearance here, and that of SJ, I'd say you're right. You do attract smart asses.

It would probably be less painful for you if discipline met whips, chains and leather outfits. Having to deal with re-dlivering that fridge is a major pain in the can.
