thoughts...usually with attitude...

Gravatar Yeah, that sounds like the fates. You actually didn't drive your car and you get punished. I'm guessing that guys folks put up with it because at least they knew he was home and not getting shot in an alley or in a bar fight or something. Hey, I love the pumpkin pictures. I was planning on doing the barfing one on the drink table at my party, right next to the punchbowl...kind of a reminder of what it'll be like later in the night. I love the way you tell stories. I feel like I know you so well just by the way you write like you probably carry on awesome conversations. You remind me a lot of my sister. She has the same sense of humor and funny stories.

Gravatar autumnforest-i bet it was fun being your sister! is she as crazy about scary stuff as you are? lol!

Gravatar I guess they would have rather you drove your car...wait, who the hell writes tickets on a Sunday morning? What kind of douche wad has nothing better to do than write a damn parking ticket on a Sunday morning? That is lame. Ok, rant over. Whew!!!How are you doin Libby, fine I hope.

Gravatar shiny-yeah, after a few 'lame' days of my own, i feel like sitting at the computer again...

Gravatar Glad you are back and feeling better.
I have to tell you Libby- reading you reminds me to get off my butt and make the most out of life...and lately it has just sucked so much. Death, illness, the weariness I feel of being a mom with 2 teens...blah- and yet, I know I should be more gratedful for every day.

I know what I need to do, or at least I know part of what I need to do...and it starts with an attitude adjustment.

Hugs friend

Gravatar cora, you are a great attitude adjustment to me, by reading what you write! and seeing your pictures!

Gravatar Hey lib. Hopefully karma bit that cop in the ass for that ticket. Jerk.

I agree with the parties at home. I used to let the kids party at the house as long as they planned to sleep over and not drive. I didn't love the company of the damn obnoxious brats but I knew where Jimmy was and that was all I cared about.

Gravatar christine-yeah, but that ticket was something i got teased about for EVER! so it had its purposes, i guess...& it taught me to drive drunk, so i never got another one (snark)!

Gravatar Never fails you do something good like NOT drinking and driving and you get a parking ticket for it. Cops should never ticket cars that are parked overnight by bars.

Love the throwing up pumpkin!

Gravatar meg, havent we ALL felt like that pumpkin at one time or another??

Gravatar I am so glad you're better. Keep it up! My new job is at Pottery Barn. I'm still keeping my online store but hope to make a little extra cash, that is if I don't spend it in the store. It's hard to pass up a 30% discount ya know. Love your stories of fun and adventures- wild thing.

Gravatar junie--the only better jobs would be an antique store, or the hobby lobby!

Gravatar Better a parking ticket than a DUI.

When I lived in Oxford, the parking tickets were like two dollars. What did yours cost?

Gravatar x-$50 or $75, i forget...but it WAS hefty! which is totally wrong, but remember, it was about 25 yrs ago, & drunk driving wasnt the problem it is now...well, it probably was, but the awareness wasnt there...kinda like smoking in bars...

Gravatar That "bad" pun was really good.

Gravatar sj, i figured you'd like it!!

Gravatar I'm glad you're better.

Isn't it wonderful that you really lived life so fully when you were young? You can always sit back and draw on those memories. MS can't take that away from you.

Gravatar tlp-so true!! & tif was just here & we were trying to make talan kick!!

Gravatar Meh, screw parking tickets!!!
