The cat and I understand hot! We are thinking about putting ice cubes in the bathtub and soaking. At least I am; Alex hates water in any form.

I call those people sociopaths. I'm somewhat of an expert on them as I seem to be a magnet for them.

The day candy bars start to scream at me, it'll be time to get out of the sun and into some air conditioning.

I guess and old favorite candy bar can get predictable after a while. So when a new taste comes along, we taste it. We like it and toss the old favorite aside. But we better be careful before we do that, because after a short time that new taste isn't so special and we thought it would be. So then we drop the new candy bar and want to go back to our old favorite. But by then, the old favorite has also moved on and that's not an option any more. Now we don't have any candy bars to eat at all.

hi libby,
Are you a candybar in disguise?
The most fun you can have with a bar of chocolate is when you unwrap it and think about what you're going to do with it.
And it tastes so much better if it's been in the fridge for a while too.
I hope this helps. But I doubt it will.

hmmmmmmmm are we talking candy here? I often wonder the same thing, is there no loyaly to candy in this world?
This heat sucks doesn't it.......I try and work outside a bit, but shit, it got to 102 f'ing degrees yesterday. That just isn't right........it is only June, what the f is it going to be like in August, I ask you?
I guess I am going to have to take a trip to someplace cold for August. Yeh, and let all my plants die, I don't think so. But not sure how I am going to survive this heat this summer. I will be begging for cold weather.

My leftover lunch money was spent on cigarettes. Little JD that I was.
When I was growing up my family always bought a christmas tree that was alive with the bulb of roots at the bottom. They used to plant them around the house after the holidays. When I last visited NY, I drove past my old house on the Island and they had three of them that were almost to the roof. I hope they never cut them down.

Given the heat and then the candy bar analogy, I have to ask, "What would you do for a Klondike bar?!"
