Wow Libby... I cant imagine how scary that must have been for you to not know if your arm would be like that forever! I am so glad you are beginning to feel better and I pray that its the beginning... that you will continue to improve! Throughout this all, you remain one of the most positive people I know! Always an inspiration! I mean that too!

I am glad you are starting to feel a bit better. I still have you in my thoughts and prayers for a full recovery. That's one crazy neighbor to crawl out onto the roof.

So glad you're back. And glad your arm is doing better. I cannot imagine and I am beyond impressed with you. Go Libby go!
AND, I love weird shows, like Fringe and X-Files. I just don't dig on the ghost hunting shows. I think they're a touch lame.

Was worried about ya. So sorry for your freak outs.
Every time you put up pictures of your neighborhood I want to move back up north.

Your neighbor's lucky you didn't shoot him. Trust me, if he did something like that in New York, he'd be taking the express elevator to the pavement with a knife stuck in his adams apple.
Like everyone else, I wish there were something I could do to reverse the effects of MS on you. I wouldn't be surprised if everything you've gone through pissed you off royally.

Glad you're feeling better Libby. That sounds pretty scary to lose control of your arm and hand like that. I hope the new medications are working. Also the news of your impending grandmoterhood should ease the discomfort for awhile I hope.

Libby! Glad to hear you're feeling a little better, it does suck not being able to use your hand. I saw the news thingy about the ms pill, sounds good to me. If I'm going to feel like shit, I'd rather feel that way with a pill instead of those friggin shots. Catch ya soon,
Andy

christine-yeah, you only want to move back up here when you see the summer pictures i put up...when i have the snowy pictures, you want nothing to do with it!! not that i blame you...
x-see, that's why i like this small city/town, ya know? ...& remember, i was only 19, and this was before the days that there was 911 service!
ricardo-i hope this med is gonna work...i'm staying on it for aat least 6 months, giving it a fair try, ys know?
andy-yeah, that med sounds good, even though it's only for gait problems, nothing else, but still! i may try that, + the tysabri & physical therapy! i wish they had let me stay in the stage 2 trials years ago, at the cleveland clinic!

Been lurking a while. Glad you are better. Ihave a sister who has been battling MS for almost 25 years. She has been doing OK lately - most of her worst attacks were quite a few years ago. It is constant pain she deals with now, but seems to keep on top of it with the right meds.
I love that picture of the house! I'm so into older heritage style houses. Are you still friends with that neighbour, Scott?

olly- welcome! i'm lucky as far as ms patients go...i never have had any pain...except when i fall down & bash my head or something...i cross my fingers that i never get it! give your sister my best!
as far as scott...he only lived here while he was working his first 'corporate job' after he graduated from purdue...he did it for a few months, then decided he wasnt the corporate type, chucked it all and moved back home to traverse city, mi! said he was gonna go home & pick cherries!

I want to live on a street like that. Looks soooo pleasant. Definitely a thousand times better than the desert. I thought I'd check in and see how you're feeling. Keep us updated. We all want to know your victories. Each one is precious. You inspired me so much that when Halloween is over, I'd like to do a post about some silly story from my past that I have pictures of. My family was filled with clowns and jokesters so we did some pretty silly things when we were growing up.
