Good news about your mom. She's obviously got her wits about her, but for some reason people seem to be treating her as if she were child--which is how many people treat the elderly.

Sorry it's been so long since I've rolled through.
I love the stone house too.
There are some marvelous ones in my area that catch my eye - built out of rock quarried as locally as them old time builders could find & haul it... (so, mostly limestone)
They are so cool.

Hi Libby: It's better to keep naggin' your mom to eat. My dad might have lived longer, but he got depressed being in a hospice, stopped eating, and shriveled up like a raisin.

It was so sad. I miss him...

donald-yeah, we kinda mention it gently, but nobody wants to piss her off, she's learning not to hold her anger in (i taught her not to, cuz it's not gonna be good for her!)...but bro & family take food out & feed her...she just isn't really coordinated to feed herself (i understand!), but we are helping her!

kimmyk-yeah, it is great to have joe in my life again, we were best friends 25 years ago for 5 years after i left tif's bio-dad! saw him WAY more often than i ever saw kim!!

Good for your mom! Actually she's old enough to know if and when she wants to eat. People seldom starve themselves to death. Glad she's better.

Good news about the buses too. If they're used, they'll continue on with them.
