thoughts...usually with attitude...

Gravatar Sorry to hear about your wheelchair. Hope you get that mess fixed soon. I can't believe they said they called then you find out they didn't! The audacity!! I am having issues with my insurance. Something to do with pre-existing condition, but I didn't see a doctor for it for the time period they stated, but they are still not covering recent visits. I certainly don't have the couple of $1000 to pay doctor bill. Can't squeeze blood out of a stone. Anyway.....loved the visit last week! It was great to get to finally meet you and got to meet Tif too! She's a sweet girl. We'll have to get together with our daughters and have a girls day out.

Gravatar Awww I would walk up to that company and swipe some wheels for you if I could. Glad you are getting some help there.

I do remember bathing in the sink my mom used to do that... it was fun then... I doubt it would be now would be bumping my knees all over I guess!!!

Gravatar Amazing to me that it is taking so long. Shame on them! You are right that its a good thing (on many levels) that its not 100% necessary right now!

Loved the pictures! I think my kids would say the same sort of things about my 3rd floor!

Good luck with things and stay warm!

Gravatar I'm glad you have someone helping you get the wheelchair situation resolved. If that doesn't work out show them more of your attitude.

Good luck. It's been snowing here again. I am soooo sick of this weather.

Gravatar My grandma had one of those big huge deep sinks. And when I was little I would bathe in it till I was about 7 years old. They didn't have a bathtub, just a dinky shower, so that was my bath.

Gravatar peach--that was so great that you came down last week! i loved it! and, yes, we will have to do a girls day out! we might get the two mixed up though...nametags may be needed! lol!

sj--that was one HELLUVA mental picture of you bathing in the sink!! lol!

helene--i made up my mind that if some major movememnt on this doesnt happen, i'm calling the news station in columbus, & let them loose on it!

cathy--trust me, my attitude is loaded & ready to go...i never use attitude until i've been nice for too long!

burfica--i never thought of it as a huge sink...until i saw my darlin' baby girl taking a bath in it!!

Gravatar Thanks for commenty, Libby. I hope you have good weather. We had a great snow storm last week in the local mountains. Very beautiful!

Gravatar Yeah..my mom was also that way with Anna and Jimmy when they were babies. The kids would come in and be naked in the sink within 20 minutes. They then got powdered, lotioned and desatined. She's is doing the same thing to my sister's new baby. It must be a grandma thing. They don't think we can handle taking care of the baby as good as they can.

I think it is cute and hey, I never had to bathe them before visiting grandma and grandpa. What would be the point?

Gravatar oh, yeah, chris! why take one of the joys of my mom's life away??

Gravatar I'm glad you found a nice insurance person to help you get your wheels straightend out. Hope they get right on it before you have to use that attitude! But, hey, if they don't, then that's what it's for...

Gravatar A lot of times just having someone nice on the other end of the line makes a bad situation tolerable. I hope you're rollin' again soon!

Gravatar I hate dealing with those companys. They have NO PROBLEM taking your money, but they take their sweet time getting your stuff done!!! Good luck on it, Your house looks cool by the way and another thing, I thought you were INFAMOUS????

Im so mad at my daughter in law for keeping those grandbabies away from me. I am a great grandmother too. Too bad they wont get to know because their mother is a heinous bitch....ZEN...BREATHE IN...BREATHE OUT...there im better...

Gravatar cindy--hopefully, i don't have to show attitude...my motto is to "be nice until it's time not to be nice anymore"...they have til weds!

thomaslb--yeah...that's the problem now...a lot of job titles SAY they're cust svc, but, truthfully, they're sales!

nuttymom--shhhhh! don't tell anyone i'm infamous! damn! or i'll tell everybody that you...
i hate your daughter-in-law, can i say that?

Gravatar Wow, had a street named after you and everything. Guess I have to treat you with more respect, huh?

It's interesting to see some of the places where you used to live, and have the sense f memory that tell syou that such and such happened here, something else happened over there. You can almost see it.

The only two attics I ever lived under were kinda cheery places. Nothing creepy about them at all.
