I guess they can be fun, I know lots of people like to go......my class was small, and didn't get along very well. I didn't mix much, just did my school work, did my homework, and worked after school. So can't say that I would go, but I don't think there are any planned in my school. The one that I went to up through eight grade is having one this year, this month, I would like to go, but I am not going to. Just to complicated to try and make the plans, since it is in a little cow town. I would have to fly into Reno and then rent a car and drive 120 miles.
Have fun at your though.....will be hoping for a recount and a few pictures.......

kimmyk--...i've only gone to one of mine, our 5 year one..and i really only went to that cuz my bf at the time & i just wanted to get drunk aomeplace different than bars in tiffin, and everywhere else up there!
I wrote one letter to our editor, demanding a local politician apologize to the kids and parents of the town, but he never did.
Good thing he lost. hahahahahah
We don't do that in this part of the world and as a result there is no way to get back in touch with my school friends.
By the time I completed college the internet had taken off and we were computer science students so we did create a Yahoo group. However I have no wish to meet any of my college mates.
Irony isn't it I can't get in touch with the group I liked but have a way to with the bunch I didn't.

My cousin Amy O'Connor went to Harding, but I'm not sure what year. I thought it was '83 but she's not on the list. She might be class of '82.
(Personally, I dropped out when I was 15. High school isn't something I want to remember.)
burfica--well, the only letters to the editor i've ever written are positive ones...and i'm sure that's the only reason they make it...never had any other reason to write, although if i did, i promise i would!!

'course...i was the one that had tif when i was 18...but it turned out good...it hurt so damn bad that i didn't have another!! i tell people that since i had the perfect one on my first try, why go through that again??

queenie--i was talking to someone about whether i'd be able to recognize people, then i started thinking that since there's gonna be about 200 people there, they'll probably give us name tags...but if you look at the link to the reunion page, it has all our pix frm high school are there, and a lot of people sent in a 'now' picture too!

yeah I was so mad, I usually only write good stuff, but this one made me so mad.
This politician's family was passing out halloween candy and instead of candy they were putting papers in the kids bags that said. VOTE FOR SO AND SO ON SUCH AND SUCH DATE!!
Now tell me?? What kid seeking halloween candy wants anything to do with that??
I was so dam mad I couldn't even see straight. I mean stand outside and hand them out to parents, and give the kids candy, but don't go putting them in the kids candy bags instead of the candy.
So....yeah I ranted to the editor, and he published it in the paper, started and uproar of other people pissed. I tried saying the only decent thing to do would be for him and his family to appoligize the the kids of the city. but he never did, said they didn't do anything wrong.
Maybe I'm over sensitive, but I thought they way they did it was very very wrong.
