LOL SJ! uh...so, are you Libby?
I'm glad that you recognized the infection right away. My friend with MS had one recently, which she did NOT recognize. She ended up in the hospital.
There's a difference between hay and straw????? Who knew?

haha, what is the difference between hay and straw. Well think of it this way.....hay is food, straw is what is left after there is no food to eat. Straw is just the stems (the chaff from the wheat).....the head with the food goes into flour. Hay is what you feed your horses, if you tried to feed the straw they would just sniff at it, straw is what you put in the pen for them to lay down on.....because there is nothing there to eat. Straw is wheat chaff.......hay is made of rhy, barley, clover, alfalfa..... that is about as much as I know......
I used to have horses, but never really thought about their feed that much. There is also what they call permanent pasture grass, it is the lowest grade, but if you feed your horses nothing but alfalfa, they would not be healthy, it is considered a "hot" food. My husband was the horse person, he was raised on a horse ranch.
I have had my share of bladder and kidney infections, I only have one kidney since I was 16.

Libby, Libby, Libby! What did you learn on your Grandpa's farm? I was going to explain the difference between hay and straw to you but I see Nea did a good job of it already.
