Funny how the city thing works - San Francisco is so exciting in so many ways, but it can be quite tiring. If you move, I'm sure you won't miss the pigeons

Maybe by focuing on the beauty that is the place you live, you will learn to love it? I think if I had taken this attitude when living in Maine, I would have liked it better.

Hello - I've never commented on your blog before, but I've been reading it for a month or so. Someone else linked to one of your posts, but I've forgotten who, I'm sorry!
I'm starting to feel anxiety to leave my hometown as well, so I can sympathize. However, oddly, I'm leaving tomorrow for a short vacation in San Francisco. But I can very much understand feeling that a place, however great other people might believe it to be, just isn't for you.
Your photo project sounds like a great idea - I think it will be very fun to follow!
What a wonderful idea! I spend more time than I'd like thinking about my city's faults. I'm going to try to think at least one nice thing about it every day.
