Gravatar Awww, so sad to hear you don't like SF (coming from someone who was born and raised here, schooled in LA and keep finding myself in love with my hometown). Anyways, which train do you take to work?

Gravatar It sounds like you guys had a nice weekend!

I know what you mean about cities, but way to focus on the positive -- it is nice to be able to knit on the way to work!

Gravatar Funny how the city thing works - San Francisco is so exciting in so many ways, but it can be quite tiring. If you move, I'm sure you won't miss the pigeons

Gravatar My gosh that Charade sock is beautiful! Love the fun colorway!

Gravatar Lovely sock, and getting to knit on the way to work is fantastic!

Gravatar Maybe by focuing on the beauty that is the place you live, you will learn to love it? I think if I had taken this attitude when living in Maine, I would have liked it better.

Gravatar Sorry that you are in a time of turmoil. Big transitions are in store for you. I 'read it in the tea leaves'.

Gravatar Love the 365 idea! I, too, live in a place that I don't especially love.

Gravatar Hello - I've never commented on your blog before, but I've been reading it for a month or so. Someone else linked to one of your posts, but I've forgotten who, I'm sorry!

I'm starting to feel anxiety to leave my hometown as well, so I can sympathize. However, oddly, I'm leaving tomorrow for a short vacation in San Francisco. But I can very much understand feeling that a place, however great other people might believe it to be, just isn't for you.

Your photo project sounds like a great idea - I think it will be very fun to follow!

Gravatar What a wonderful idea! I spend more time than I'd like thinking about my city's faults. I'm going to try to think at least one nice thing about it every day.

And your sock is so pretty - such happy colors!
