Great job- keep posting. I'm at about the same stage but no lessons here- I watched some people spinning last weekend and it helped. I look forward to hearing about your progress.

Ach, another one lost...
So far I've resisted spinning, but weaving, now that desire is gnawing at me!

I was bit by the spinning bug several years ago and still get this "wow" moments when I see the finished yarn.

I'll be watching you from the sidelines on this one, but I can't wait to see what the droop spindle holds for you. My daughter is really obsessed and wants one desperately!!

Yay for spinning! I just started spinning on a drop spindle myself, and it's VERY addictive. As I write I'm casting on for a Faroese shawl using my own handspun. Such a thrill!

Yeah, my spinning stash has taken over. It's beyond ridiculous. I need to cut out some hobbies.

good job!! the yarn looks great. i took a drop spindle class sometime ago and the teacher made a remark that i was a contro freak. haha. indeed drop spinning is an art. art of balancing and being less control. good luck!
