if you're in toronto in the next little while, there's a shoe store next door to where i used to live last year that always has TONS of birks. birks certainly are comfy, and i'm sure you'll be happy in them. that said, my latest complaint with them is the lack of cushion. but i do love my birks. and once you break them in, you'll love them because they mold to you.

Man, the hypnotist is nuts! He has gotten both my mom and me to buy shoes that don't fit! I've decided not to go in the store any more. It's just too risky! I support your decision to go elsewhere.
