History's been kind to some presidents whose overall record is that they did more good than harm. I give it 9 months for people to forget about Bush and just focus on Barack, and also for him to mess up a bit. Hell, even Lincoln and Kennedy weren't perfect. And Bush must've done one or two things right. Ultimately, I think that people know that it's all about balance. Obama just has to screw up fewer times than he gets it right, and he'll be fine. And I think that the general public will be forgiving of him.
Eventually.
