Gravatar I used to use Triaminic all the time until the FDA said that children under the age of six should not be given over the counter cold medications. Now when my little ones have a cold I just make sure the house and their toys are sanitized and they get plenty of rest and fluids.

Gravatar Colds are tough for little ones. Having twin two year olds and not being able to give them anything is rough. I find a well humidified room and saline nose drops works wonders!

Gravatar Great post Linda!

Cascia, I work on behalf of Triaminic and I wanted to clarify something that you mentioned in your comment. The FDA has recently recommended that children under the age of four (not six) should not be given over the counter cold medications. Triaminic products are safe and effective when used as directed, and have been used to relieve children's cough and cold symptoms for more than 50 years. Triaminic cares about your children's safety and wants to assure you that you can continue to use Triaminic products as directed for children age 4 and older.

And, it is a great idea to keep the house and toys sanitized if the little ones get a cold - great tip!
