Choose your country over your party.
If he happens to be a democrat who is black then choose him.

George Bush was clearly an inferior candidate. The Democrats' candidates were better choices- not ideal but better. Ronald Reagan was a good candidate. He was the best guy for the job.
When you get this diced up rheteric you are propagating it avoids talking about substance issues. ie. Having a war hero like John Kerry and labeled him a coward meanwhile the draft dodging candidate is made to look patriotic. The media and websites like yourself whant to discuss this one aspect at nausaum. This is how we get stuck in our current state. We than got no discussions from either candidate that took place about the economy, energy crisis, eco caused issues, health care. It all fades to the back while we discussed ancient history that happened in the 70s!
The media as a whole which includes the web has fractured into a limited scope. They are attracted to two things- scandal and sex. Years ago news media was a lost leader for tv networks viewed upon as their civic duty. Once 24 hours news networks came into existence it switched to profit enterprise. You get a 24 hour cycle with 3 to 4 stories total. They give you such substantial substance as the Anna Nicole Smith baby and death scandal and Britney Spears medical issues scandal.
Even the war is not covered now as it's not "fresh" any longer.
Don't fall under the same trap.
I am a Conservative. That means I have a certain ideology that conflicts with Democrats. It doesn't matter if they're white, black, male, female, whatever. We don't share the same beliefs as to how the country should be governed. So why would I vote for them?
I don't understand why its so hard for people to understand just because I don't like Obama doesn't mean I'm a racist. I don't like McCain much at all, but I think he will be slightly better than either of the Dem candidates.
So everyone is just going to have to get over it. No amount of comments or emails will make me change my mind.
