First we install the "terrorist" then we claim rights to come after them when they no longer suit our needs. That is not American. I am more interested in seeing this cycle stops. Iraq had no WMD, No links to Terrorist, and no link to 9/11. However the current administration has saw fit to destroy their homes, infrastructure, security, and pride to create a "central front to the war on terror". In 30 yrs if the next strike occurs from a pissed off son of an Iraqis that saw his father killed and his mother raped. Are we Americans going to sit back and say, "oh whatever did we do to the Iraqis to cause them to hate us? They must hate us for our freedom." No he hates the US because they wrecked his country, let loose a criminal element that eventually lead to the death of his father and the rape of his mother. It just took the spoiled rotten son of an Oil barren to whisper in his ear and give him money to light that hatred that burns him.
3. You wasted a point to gain nothing, (a common conservative value these days) and demonstrated you lack of mental capacity by showing the need to offer an insult instead of a fact. Unfortunately there are too many shallow thinking individuals making up the populous of this country. It makes it hard to keep hold of the core values.
I could easily list 100 articles that demonstrate everything from the army's reduced standards to join the service to encouragement from the superiors to act like the heathens they are supposed to be ridding the planet of. But "those who don't look have no more sight then a blind man."
My need is to defend people. I well understand the impact and the true cost of war. I have done more then sit in my SUV guzzling gas that feeds the pockets of the real "terrorist" with my "support the troops" sticker on the bumper.
Over there they are fighting for their lives. Caught between their culture that has been developed through never ending war. They have been attacked by either the Soviets, Civil warring factions, or the US for 40 years straight. I am not defending people who wish to come to my home and do me harm. The same insanity exists here with out the obvious excuse. Everyday another story of a father shooting his family, a mother drowning her kids in a bathtub or car, or a kid shooting up his high school or college. You have to wonder if these aren't the results of dysfunction of children who were raised under the pressures of another war that never should have been. Children raised fatherless or worse. Children raised by families where the father was physically an/or mentally damaged by war, then abandoned by their government when they returned.

1. Most of those people are not innocent farmers or family men spending time with their children. Especially the large numbers of foreign fighters there. 2.Saddam DID have ties to terrorism. He routinely paid palestinian suicide bombers' families for successful missions. No WMD's, read Gen. Georges Sada's book to find out where they went. He was a general in Saddams army.

Your second paragraph doesn't make sense. How can you go from social issues in America, caused by the decline of personal responsibility, which the gov't cannot solve, but can make worse by gradually becoming a nanny state, and a soldier coming home.
I have a stat counter that tells me where people have come from and how many people have visited by blog. Since I pay your wages with my taxes I expect a better return on my investment than a jackass calling members of the military baby killers and rapists when they should be doing something pertaining to work.
