ako i totally agree with that quote you posted in the latter part. kasi, when we were young we might have fancied that we look better (less wrinkles, etc) but the fact is, our face reflected only innocence and none of the experience we currently possess. i'd say our faces aren't half as interesting as they are now. we used to be girls, now we're women.

I have watched Sense and sensibility actored by hugh grant, emma thompson and kate winslet, if my memory serves me right, and i find it moving especially when Hugh Grant knew that emma thompson has not married yet, and the scene where the whole family waits for him to tell her he's ready to marry emma.

I'm in the middle of the book, but I'm glad to read your synopsis. I'm a bit busy with the conventions going on here. Hopefully, I'll get my reading done as soon as the republican speeches are done this week.
