Did you say walking for 9 hours straight? You two little love birds had quite a hike! Looks beautiful from the top though. I so enjoy reading how you cried about the bug- he knows you are in pain and tired so he runs a bath for you. He sounds like the biggest sweet heart and it's nice to hear nice things about husbands I am still at work Odette- going on 13 hours now. It's 1030am Sunday morning and I'm outta here in 1.5 hours. Then, I'm off to go home to bed for the rest of the day. I'm whipped.

we were on the bus for like 2 hours out of 9, so that makes 7 hours on our feet.
yes the husband is very sweet, i gave him a big scare when i cried about the bug in my eye. so after i got out the stuck little thing, i gave him big kisses to ease his worries. he wants to bring me to the hospital. hehe. i'm a big girl though, and usually i manage to get myself out of trouble all by myself.
now, take care of you, and i hope you get lotsa rest!!! you're a human machine with those work hours!

You poor dear. Luck for you you've got a good man there to kiss the boo-boos and them all better. I loved the pictures. Especially the pictures of you two, and the picture of the fallen tree. I loved the ivy and moss growing on and around it. Always enjoy getting to tag along on your adventures via your stories and pictures.

Lovely pictures! Thanks for sharing we were suppoused to go to whitby yesterday, but Mr H heard the weatherman say that it would be rainy. Guess what. It was sunny and wonderful, which we found out when we got up too late to go to Whitby. Bah!

i do understand that perfectly! we were victims of bad weather forecasts-turned-beautiful weather many times too. while you thought it's cold and wet, you oversleep and wake up in the middle of the day with the sun shining perfectly and the clouds all blue and clear. :D
i think we have more rain coming in. ah well...

wow, that seems like a nice destination. and its so lush! in tokyo, fuji is so dry and barren that it's a chore to climb ;-( i miss our mountains back home, with all the trees and streams trickling past
