Hang in there! And good luck on your date too. You've gotta take a break for some fun once in a while...

Yay, hello!
Re PhD worries, you have a while before it's supposed to be finished, don't you?
Re your last point: you are amazing, and I have no idea how you juggle so much stuff. But sometimes (am talking generally here, not to you specifically) there's just too much going on, you know? And no matter how much juggling you do, some of the balls are going to hit the ground. So do make sure it's not just that you've taken on too much in addition to the things you *have* to do. I only say this because you've sounded terribly run-down for ages, and I'm worried about you. Take care. xx
PS - good luck with the date!

Except unlike B, I'm not superwoman - she seems to be able to do it all without needing sleep or something!!
Thanks Liz, I'm OK really, I've just got to deal with the fact that this next year is going to be a struggle with the PhD, that this is totally normal (My Dr. friend Anna assures me!) and that I'm no spring chicken anymore - I can't juggle twenty things anymore like I could in my early 20's! Oh, and I need to learn to say no of course
Cheers Jenn, I do believe in taking time out to relax, but it's hard to do that sometimes when work is piling up. How's SF?

SF is great. It's Pride week, so there's a lot going on here. I've been an organizer for one of the big events (the Trans March) for a couple years, and it's really picking up as it gets closer. It's going to be huge this year with an estimated 10K people and about 20 performers on our stage.
Outside of that, I've been traveling a lot, and am glad to finally spend a couple weekends at home. I'm sort-of-dating someone, though it's long-distance -- but a welcome change from having nothing in that area.
