Wow. Leslie. Totally inspiring! Great, great job. I see things like this and it's hard to believe it came out of anyone's sewing room and not the workworms of Burberry!

Your trench looks fantastic. Where did you find the hanging chain? I have the same fabric in burgundy waiting to be made up.

That is AWESOME!!! I love your attention to detail. I love the way you used grosgrain ribbon to finish the raw edges on the interior.

That trench looks fantastic! I saw that fabric recently and couldn't remember where I'd seen it before. Now, I may have to go get some now!
I purchased a vintage buttonholer too and have the same problem with the stitch length. I'm using it on a regular basis though because it's so nice to know that each buttonhole is exactly the same.

What a labor of love! All of your attention to detail paid off. You really set the bar for the rest of us with Burberry in our stash...
I noticed online that they usually show the belts tied like you have instead of belted the 'proper' way. Of course you will eventually put eyelets in your belt but I like the way you're wearing it now.
I never noticed before that the chest flap buttons over the other side of the coat! Very interesting.

Wow this looks utterly fantastic!! You've done such a professional job on this!
I've seen those Singer buttonhole makers before, but somehow never even considered that they could be used on non-vintage machines.
