Gravatar Funny you should mention DVF. I spent an hour at Bloomies yesterday trying on DVF dresses both to see what looks good on me and how the edges are finished. I noticed in many of the dresses I tried on DVF uses a non-stretch binding. Ever try that?

Gravatar This is a wonderful dress and great pattern. The fabric combination is beautiful. Great job.

Gravatar Very pretty! The contrast bands were a good idea. And I like your method of finishing the armhole - I hate armhole facings too!

Gravatar The dress is very pretty and I love the print...even though you had several modifications, I am glad that you were able to make it work for you.

Gravatar Love your idea for attaching the bodice gathers to the belt. I'll definitely try that one. The dress looks really nice too!

Gravatar Looks awesome. I was studying the armbinding picture and it looks as if there are three rows of stitches? One for the initial attachment, one for the understitching and one for topstitching? If you topstitch the binding how come it doesn't look flappy on the inside? Does this question even make sense? Ignore me if it doesn't, I'll just keep studying the picture.

Gravatar I'd been looking at this pattern and wondering if it would work in a stretch - thanks for showing me the way. The dress looks great and I love your armhole treatment, that's much better than facings.

Gravatar How GORGEOUS!

Gravatar Cute dress!

Gravatar Great dress. I never really checked out Kwik Sew now I think I will

Gravatar Beautiful dress. It suits you and fits you well.

Gravatar Love the dress and I'll be trying out that hemming method on my next knit project. Thanks for all the great tips!

Gravatar Read your review at PR and popped over here to read further info regarding this lovely dress. Love the fabric and the look of this dress.

Gravatar LooHoo, I found your blog via Karen. Love your version of this dress. Very flattering and well made.
