Now you know I was amazed at all the muslins, but this dress was definitely worth all the work you put into it! I am so glad that you felt princessy in it and my fingers are crossed that the water spots will come out!

Liz the shoes are some old white leather shoes I had sitting in my closet, I had my cobbler dye them yellow. Cute yellow shoes are hard to find!
Leslie! I am in awe, the dress is TDF. I can tell it must be a dream to wear - all those layers of silk! The fell stitching at the armholes is *so* couture, Susan Khalje would be proud.

I just found an email you sent me re construction, but it looks as if you solved your dilemma, and you did it exactly as I would have anyway. 
Have you already sent it to the cleaners? If not, the best way to remove a water spot is to dunk the whole thing in water. Seriously. Dunk the whole thing in cool water, then hang to dry, and press it just before it is fully dry to finish drying it. Water spots will be gone and the whole will look as good as new.
