L.D. - great post. I enjoy reading different perspectives on the proposed UM/UGA home-home series suggested by our friend, Kyle. You make excellent points regarding your neutral site series, and the scheduling of Clemson. It's not entirely dissimilar with the struggles some UM fans have with Notre Dame on the OOC schedule for most years.

However, I would offer the results of an admittedly informal (and probably inaccurate) survey I've taken that may assist some in absorbing your analysis.

Asking the casual college football fan (leaving out psychotics, such as ourselves), representing 3 Big Ten schools and 2 MAC schools... totally 9 fans in my test group.

Only 2 knew in which of the 50 states Clemson resided.

While this is not intended to be insulting to Georgia's nationally reknown difficult SEC schedule, nor a knock on Clemson fans... it is merely meant to illustrate the distinct marketing gap of such a game north of the Mason-Dixon, and maybe further the discussion.
