The voice of him that crieth in the Bloggerness!

Those of us who carry on after Mona's passing have our own memorial to her character inscribed in our consciousness. I believe Mona lived her life fully aware of her impact on our lives. She exemplified the life I wish to lead and her legacy lives within.
A precious memory........... at a Christmas celebration two years prior to her passing, Mona's granddaughter Tennyson and I sat amazed beyond belief when we watched Mona sing aloud carol after carol as part of a choir with her strong alto part clear and crisp and right on pitch. This is amazing in that a stroke had taken Mom's voice three years earlier.
Happy 95th Mom. May we make you proud.

That was so lovely. I'm sure your grandma still loves you very much and prays for you everyday in heaven. Thanks for letting the world know about her.

Joel, what a beautiful tribute to your grandmother, my mother. Your love for her is clear and strong and her unconditional love for all of us is one of the mainstays of my life too.
Love, your tainted sainted painted aunt Betsy
