Do guesses go here, and am I allowed to guess?
My question as well, but since I really only know two of them for sure (and will kick myself on at least three others), I'll let it go.
In fact, in beginning my reply (to air tomorrow!) I see the trouble. I'd tag each movie quite differently. Given my own list of ten by someone else, I'm not sure I'd get them all.
Ok, I will have to pass. I took my guesses to IMDB and looked them up. I got 8/10. Of course, most of these I watched with him, and of course it isn't difficult for any family member to guess his favorite movies.
Go ahead and guess, although Christina, you know all of them anyway.

I can only guess (other than 1 and 2, which are gimmes) 4 - "The men who went up a hill and came down a mountain" (or whatever it's called) and 8. - "The Music Man" (and that's kind of a guess - Anvil? Was there an anvil in there?)
The traveling salesman at the end, who threates to expose the professor, is an anvil salesman. At one point, he drops his case on the ground and it clangs.
I must say, my movies were far less interesting.

The Philadephia Story is one of my favorite movies and I wouldn't have gotten this in a billion years.
I have to admit, one of the little things I enjoyed was the momentary use of Quaker "plain speech" in the library. Hard to explain why I was tickled by it, though.
