Thanks for the re-focus, Joel. I was thinking about "how much the government of Burma sucks" and how cruel they are to their people - but instead, you have me thinking about the U.S., a country that will jump to help even when some crap ruler says they're Not Allowed, that will give aid even to people who cannot or will not thank them (Hrm...what Gospel passage does that remind me of).

We do live in a great country. Great in large part because of the hearts of the people who live here. I just wish everyone in the world had a country like ours.
