Gravatar I don't know when George was last in NYC, but he sure lived here a long time, in Queens. He should know better. Maybe he figured no one would notice and he'd just draw buildings he thinks are cool.

TV shows are notorious for moving buildings around the city, but sometimes, that's part of where they get to film. In comics, there's really no excuse.

Gravatar Perhaps it's an aftershock from when Hercules moved Manhattan.

Gravatar I don't understand the problem here. I mean whenever someone draws London, England in a comic they always manage to fit Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, the Telecom Tower, St. Paul's Cathedral, the British Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, and the London Eye into the same shot.

Gravatar Just because it's 'always' done doesn't mean it's okay.

I loved how when Spider-Man came out, the producers got flack from either the Daily News or the NY post about how they basically re-designed NYC.

They had to. In the "real" NY, anyone trying to get around by web would never get anywhere.

Gravatar "So basically, either some super villain has undergone a fiendish plot that entails twisting the Flatiron 180 degrees,--"

Sounds JUST like something Dr. Doom would pull just to tick people off!
